Year of Completion: Master Plan in Process
Founded in 2002, Boston Trinity Academy commenced their middle and high school classes in a rented facility. In the summer of 2004, they retained Mills Whitaker Architects to assist them with evaluating possible future sites for their permanent facilities. BTA’s consideration of the first two facilities that were evaluated, a former church campus and a former manufacturing facility, did not lead toward a purchase. The third facility evaluated, a former school and convent, was a good fit for BTA and they were able to purchase the campus to meet their current and long-term needs.
Following a preliminary architectural review of their facilities, we assisted BTA with code upgrades, classroom improvements and related modifications in preparation of their grand opening in September 2006. In 2007, we commenced a master planning process for future expansion. In 2008, we expanded classrooms and improved on-site residential accommodations for the Headmaster and Athletic Director.
